Case Studies - Bund Containment

A major car component manufacturer in the north of England contacted us with a need for a bund lining for an external diesel tank. Although the tank had a bund area it was very badly leaking and wholly inadequate.

We prepared the internal surface, cleaning up the diesel spill underneath the tank, primed the surface and applied the first coat of resin all in the first day. Before adding the first coat we also filled a number of holes with a custom made resin paste.

On the morning of the second day we applied a final coat of resin. The bund was able to be used and tested the following day.
