Grants Whisky, Girvan in Scotland, probably Britain’s best-known distillery. We were approached by the Distillery regarding the complete relining of six fibreglass tanks that were located outside. After some discussion we felt that relining the lower part of tanks would be more cost-effective than relining the whole tanks. Grants had been advised by another company that the entire surface of each tank would require complete relining. We have extensive experience in the repair and lining of fibreglass tanks as well as conventional steel tanks and we advised them that we could repair the lower third of the tank without any problem thus saving them time and money.
The work was successfully completed using a food grade epoxy resin tank lining system
