Case Studies - Southern Water

Southern Water asked us to apply a coating to a concrete plenum in a major water treatment works in the South East of England. The plenum was used in the process of deodurising waste gases generated by the water treatment process.

The floor and walls of the plenum were heavily coated with a residue left by the deodorizing process which had to be removed by hand and industrial vacuum.

Once cleaned, the area then received a coat of primer and chemically resistant resin using our specialist spray machine.

All works were completed in a single working day and the plenum was able to be returned to active use one hour following treatment.
